INSPIRATION
I saw women like this somewhere in the south of Spain. Maybe it was Bolonia Beach, maybe Los Bateles in Conil. It was definitely Andalusia — that part of the coast between Tarifa and Cádiz, where the light has its own color and the wind seems to rule everything.
Wide, sandy beaches, warm turquoise water, and movement in the air – light, natural, full of freedom. And women who seemed to be in harmony with the elements, as if the wind carried their thoughts and gestures farther than they could reach on their own.
These scenes stayed in my memory and became the beginning of the emotions that I later brought onto the canvas.
The “Wind of chance” series is a record of those memories – real places, real moments, and the feelings born in the Spanish wind.
