INSPIRATION
With this painting, the Taking Care collection opens another step. For the first time, a parent appears. A mother.
A young child stands close, holding onto her leg. She gently points toward the sea. It is a simple moment, but full of meaning – showing, guiding, being there.
This is how care begins. Not in words, but in presence. In closeness. In quiet gestures that help us understand the world.
The collection now brings together four series: Girls, Bonds, Boys, and Family. Each one shows a different form of closeness and care.
Because before we learn to care for others, someone first shows us how.
