INSPIRATION
Lakeside memories. Early morning at a lake hidden deep in the forest. A walk among sparkling dewdrops ornamenting the spider webs more beautifully than diamond necklaces. She was still half asleep. Seated on the pier, and resting her head on the rail. Somewhere out there is the other shore. Still immersed in the mist. Guess what it was like yesterday…
PAINTING
Intentionally two-coloured image to give the atmosphere of a misty morning. The viewer has to guess what he sees even in the foreground. Oil on canvas, a technique of smooth, long brushstrokes.
