The real wow! effect

The effects created by painters on canvas are awe-inspiring. Each brushstroke is important for the final quality. But how it happens?

Art begins with handicraft

The final effect – as seen by viewers – is determined by the artist’s open imagination, unique talent, courage of exploration and trained workshop.

The most beautiful paintings, the most popularly hung on walls, wonderfully decorating living rooms, creating atmosphere in bedrooms – are created thanks to the handiwork of artists. Only the true placement of paint on the canvas – layer by layer, usually mixing colors not only on the palette but also on the canvas – guarantees the highest impressions.

Possible, but not true

Of course, there are times when someone opts for a printed painting. Nowadays it is possible to print on canvas. Sunflowers, a hugging couple, a female portrait, a metropolitan landscape. The print even looks good from a distance. However, it loses in close-up. When you see the uniform, smooth coating of digital ink.

Viewers of such images notice what they lack. Handmade technique. Visible traces of the artist’s brush. The weight of the paint. Reflections of light. The effect of blending colors.

Did you know that a painter does not put paint on the canvas straight from the tube? This is what the workshop is based on. But this is only the basis.

The most open minds

The idea and the artist’s imagination go hand in hand. Great painting. Mastery. Amazing. More than modern. I haven’t seen one like this before.

Contemporary painting is based on the searching – new forms, new meanings, new processing of the world. That’s how. Today’s painting doesn’t have to, doesn’t aim to, play the role of presenting the world. That’s what we use photography for.

Feel the peaks

Modern, good painting is for transforming and returning. Images, emotions, impressions. It is supposed to influence the viewer’s imagination. An abstract painting is made to provoke thinking, feeling, reacting. Do you feel the difference?

I paint because I think. You look at paintings because you think.

And you don’t need to know what the artist was thinking or seeing. Let your joy be your own interpretation.

Look at the paintings with courage.

Good luck in your search for the ones you want to own.
