INSPIRATION
It really excites me to discover emotion in the most basic activities. Wrapping hair in a towel seems so regular, but yet – probably – you smile every time you leave the bathroom, the lake, the sea….
A simple act, isn’t it? And yet I have a question: does the scene pictured in this canvas, trigger a memory of your last holiday?
PAINTING
A classic for my painting, the technique of creating narrative and form using large smooth patches of paint. The colourful accent of the painting is a soft, striped towel.
