With #26 and #27 the Taking Care collection enters a new chapter.
Until now, the paintings explored closeness between girls – sisters, friends, companions. Always near. Always together. Through quiet gestures of care and protection, they reflected the earliest forms of sisterhood.
Now the story expands. Boys appear in the collection, opening space for new relationships and fresh emotional dynamics.
Two girls. A girl and a boy. Two boys.
With this step, Taking Care becomes into a broader reflection on childhood closeness – the instinct to protect, to stay near, to care for someone who matters.
Because true connection begins long before we have words for it. In presence. In touch. In small gestures that build safety, trust and belonging.
